ABOUT CREATIVE LATTICE
Creative Lattice was started in 2022 as a community oriented artist project by Jac Lahav. It became an umbrella name for his independent curatorial exhibitions, artist career workshops, artist talks, and more.
In 2023 Lahav partnered with artist Ruth Lantz of Crit Connection to expand their growing community of professional artists.
WHO IS JAC LAHAV
Jac Lahav is an artist with over 20 years of experience in the field. He has been curating exhibitions and developing a vibrant artistic community nationally for over 15 years. As an artist, Lahav has had multiple solo museum exhibitions including Richmond Art Museum Indiana, Longview MFA Texas, Saginaw Art Museum Michigan, Florence Griswold Museum Connecticut, Lahav’s work can be found in multiple public collections including the Jewish Museum Milwaukee, Mount Holyoke Art Museum, Jewish Museum NY among others.
Lahav’s social practice and curatorial projects have been written about in Hyperallergic, New York Times, Gothamist, Artnet, among others. During the pandemic, Lahav expanded their social practice, becoming an advocate for foster parents and helping start the group Public Art For Racial Justice Education (PARJE).
Through his community work, Lahav has helped facilitate large-scale mural projects, host educational artist talks, and run children’s art projects to educate about under-represented narratives and equity in America.
WHO IS RUTH LANTZ

Ruth Lantz, an Illinois-based artist, received her Masters in Visual Studies from the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) in Portland, OR in 2010. Her work has been featured nationally at numerous galleries and institutions, including the Rockford Art Museum (Rockford, IL), Russo Lee Gallery (Portland, OR) Disjecta (Portland, OR), Washington State University Vancouver (Vancouver, WA), Governors State University (University Park, IL), St. Louis Artist’s Guild (St. Louis, MO), Northern Illinois University (Dekalb, IL) and Indianapolis Art Center (Indianapolis, IN). Her work was featured at the Portland International Airport and at the Fringe Festival at Southern Oregon University and she was a presenter in the “Making a Better Painting” Symposium at the Hoffman Gallery at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Lantz is the founder of Crit Connection, a project providing networking opportunities and resources to emerging and mid-career artists.
